21/09/2012 - Renovation of a Lock gate in Germany: twinning of expertise between Actemium & Cegelec

Actemium Nord and Cegelec Hamburg have been jointly awarded a contract by the Brunsbüttel waterways and shipping authority to renew the lock gate drives of Brunsbüttel lock between the Kiel Canal and the River Elbe.

Within the scope of the project the DC drives of the lock gates with a length of over 30 metres, combined with the control systems, are to be replaced by decentralised systems.

Actemium is responsible for the control systems and erection, while Cegelec will engineer and supply the required switchgear and power rectifier systems.

17/06/2012 - Actemium "Key supplier" to PSA Peugeot Citroën

Actemium was honored "key Supplier" PSA Peugeot Citroen the last June 8th.

Beyond its thirteen "Strategic Suppliers", PSA Peugeot Citroën wants to identify and recognize "Key Suppliers", medium-sized companies with international influence and referent in their industry.

The goal is to label 100 "key suppliers" before 2015 ; Actemium is the first to be awarded.

16/12/2011 - SAICA Paper: Working in unison for efficient solution

Actemium - Frankfurt and Actemium - Nottingham work together on new SAICA paper mill located in Partington, Manchester, UK.

The plant will produce recycled paper to be used for the manufacture of cardboard boxes and will use 100% recovered paper and cardboard.

This is an installation and commissioning project for process equipment instrumentation and electrical wiring, including the main paper mill machine, and pre and post process equipment.
 
Actemium - Frankfurt is leading the project with their expertise in paper mill machinery. They are supported by Actemium - Nottingham who are supplying labour for plant handling operations, installation &  instrumentation electricians and a full time Health & Safety Manager conversant with UK CDM Health & Safety Regulations. Nottingham are also carrying out any relevant NIC EIC certification.

04/11/2011 - Newcomers: 5 business units joined Actemium in the UK

Lee Beesley, founded in 1907 which specialises in the design, engineering, installation and commissioning of electrical, mechanical and IT services has rebranded on 1st of November 2011 and will now be known as Actemium.

This company was acquired by VINCI Energies in 1991 and is present in five cities within the UK: Coventry, Walsall, Derby, Nottingham and Merthyr Tydfil.
These five business units employ more than 120 employees with a turnover exceeding £8,4 million in 2011.

17/05/2011 - Ajaccio Urban Area Community – Electrical work for the Ajaccio waste water treatment plant

VINCI Environnement assigned Actemium the carrying out of electrical and control system work for the Ajaccio waste water treatment plant, on behalf of the Ajaccio Urban Area Community. This contract includes electrical studies, the programming of the PLC, the installation of the electrical switch boxes and panels and the outfitting of the generator set.
The work began in February 2011 and will run for 8 months.
