Lorry flow management applied to household waste management

When Veolia Environmental Services, which manages the household waste incinerator at Le Mans, needed to improve the on-site flow of lorries and make discharging into the ditch safer, it sought the expertise of Actemium.

The challenge: to optimise the flow of 150 trucks a day on the platform, improve safety and boost productivity.

Jean-Michel Gaillard, project manager at Actemium - Le Mans worked with Veolia to come up with a configurable system of cameras and remote controls linked to a control room which has optimised the overall management of the site. 

13/07/2011 - Kab Takuma - Biomass plant in Wittenberg-Piesteritz

Renewable energy experience in Germany

Kab Takuma entrusted Actemium for the erection of its new Biomass plant in Wittenberg-Piesteritz (Germany).

Actemium  performed all necessary deliveries and services, such as hardware engineering, programming, manufacture, erection - incl. cable tray construction, cable assembly and connections - startup, supervising trial operation and training of operating staff.

They have supplied the entire central control systems, comprising highly available Siemens control units, servers, redundant bus systems and ET200 control units as well as a failsafe control.
 

Aim of this new green plant was to produce electricity generation of 20 MW as well as process steam recovery of approx. 15 t/h.

13/07/2011 - Kab-Takuma - Usine biomasse de Wittenberg-Piesteritz

Partenaire d’Actemium depuis de nombreuses années, la société Kab Takuma s'appuie de nouveau sur les compétences de la marque dans le cadre de la construction de sa nouvelle usine biomasse à Wittenberg-Piesteritz (Allemagne).

Actemium a ainsi effectué toutes les fournitures et les services associés, tels que l'ingénierie, la programmation, la fabrication, la construction y compris celle des chemins de câbles, l’assemblage et les connexions.

Ses équipes ont installé l'ensemble des systèmes de contrôle commande avec, notamment, la mise en place d’unités de contrôle haute disponibilité Siemens, des serveurs, des bus redondants, des unités de contrôle ET200 ainsi qu'un contrôle de sécurité intégrée. Elles ont également supervisé les essais, la formation du personnel d'exploitation et la mise en service.

L’objectif de cette nouvelle centrale verte est de produire 20 MW d’électricité et de générer une récupération de vapeur de 15 t/h.
