Actemium Leuven creates a hands-free door opener
To prevent the spread of diseases during these times, minimizing the physical touch of surfaces is critical. Therefore, Actemium Leuven developed a “hands-free” door opening solution for offices, sites and workshops.
This solution is made from stainless steel, which is known that bacteria do not live long on this material compared to plastics and it’s easy to clean. It is also easily installable or removable on various types of door handles. Instead of using your hand to open and close the door, the hands-free door opener allows you to use your wrist to avoid viral contamination through hand transmission.
