Actemium Steps Forward in the South Korean Offshore Wind Market

South Korea’s offshore wind sector has made advances in the last few years. Since 2022, the government has set ambitious renewable energy targets, aiming to increase the share of renewables in its electricity mix to 21.6% by 2030 and nearly 33% by 2038. In response, Actemium is making strategic moves to establish it’s present in this dynamic market.

Connecting Local Opportunities with Global Expertise
A major milestone in this journey was Actemium’s participation in the Korea Offshore Wind Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition at BEXCO, Busan, held on July 2–3, 2025—a perfect platform to showcase their expertises.
The booth established by Actemium and its partner ENGSOFT, welcomed more than 170 visitors, including developers, EPC contractors, offshore wind professionals, and leading Korean energy companies.
This provided a valuable opportunity to present Marine Coordination Services (MCS) and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) capabilities, strengthening Actemium’s reputation as a reliable partner in Korea’s offshore wind market. The exhibition also opened doors to meet with major international players. These discussions highlighted Actemium’s marine coordination expertise and paved the way for potential collaborations on future tenders in the offshore Korean wind market contributing to the carbon neutrality of the country.
