This milestone project, developed by Orano Med, represents a significant leap forward in targeted alpha therapy for oncology, marking the first-ever industrial installation dedicated to thorium-228 production. This rare isotope is a crucial precursor to lead-212, used in promising new approaches to cancer treatment.
