AVT Europe NV becomes Actemium Handling Solutions

AVT Europe NV, an Essen-based company specialising in heavy load transport, machine building and customised robot and integration projects, will from now on continue to operate under the brand name Actemium.
The rebranding will help AVT Europe, which has long been part of the VINCI Energies group, to further expand its extensive expertise in transport solutions, automation and robotics and to develop new activities thanks to Actemium’s global reputation.
AVT Europe NV specialises in custom mobile transport systems, machine construction, automation and robotics. With more than 20 years of experience, it provides services and solutions to both local SMEs and large multinationals active in various industries, ranging from food and steel industries to supporting projects for renewable energy, aviation and space travel. To this end, AVT Europe counts on a close-knit team of around 75 technically trained employees.
Being part of the VINCI Energies network since 2018, AVT Europe has been able to count on Actemium’s support for quite some time. The VINCI Energies brand dedicated to industry focuses on industrial automation and digitalisation, electricity and instrumentation, logistics solutions, machine construction and process plant construction. Actemium offers expertise and services in every project phase, from advice to construction and service. This know-how, combined with Actemium’s international network, enables AVT Europe to tackle turnkey projects and offer service anywhere in the world with a local team.
Actemium Handling Solutions
AVT Europe will officially continue under the name Actemium Handling Solutions. Business Unit Manager Jan Stevens will remain in charge. The unit will be part of the Industry Automation & Machine Solutions perimeter, within VINCI Energies Belgium. The change has no impact on ongoing contracts, the company name AVT Europe NV or other legal details.
Shared vision
We welcome AVT Europe into the global Actemium network with 440 expert business units and 25,000 driven professionals
testifies Wim De Vrieze, Perimeter Director Industry Automation & Machine Solutions.
This move enables them to build further on their extensive expertise in transport solutions, automation and robotics, and develop new activities founded on Actemium’s global industrial reputation.
I look forward to continuing to build together with Actemium Handling Solutions on a future that reflects our shared vision. We continue to guarantee successful projects as a local partner, but can now even better complement that experience with the extensive skills and knowledge of the Actemium business units worldwide to provide turnkey projects for our customers.
concludes Jan Stevens, Business Unit Manager Actemium Handling Solutions.
